Organic Keyword Listings     How to achieve high organic listings on the major search engines.

Having a number 1 listing on Google or other search engines can have a massive affect on the number of people visiting your website.

From our experience depending on certain factors between 50% and 75% of people click on the number 1 listing of any search engine.

Keyword Research

One of the most important parts of SEO is targeting the right keywords. These are probably NOT the most searched on i.e. if you run a wedding dress shop you wouldn't target wedding dresses as this would be extremely difficult to get to number 1 for. You might target either a brand of wedding dress or maybe wedding dresses in London or where ever it is situated.

Not only is it easier to target a brand or are but the conversion rate, the number of people taking up the offer, is greater because they are finding you for exactly what they are looking for.

I personally use 2 different keyword tools to make sure I am getting good information. I use Wordtracker, which costs me about £120 per year, and the Google keyword tool which is free.
